Valsanzibio garden and maze
Valsanzibio is a beautiful 17th century garden, and a rare exemple of symbolic garden. It includes a complex system of fountains - all still working. Log in to their website.
Catajo Castle
Built between 1570 and 1578 for Pio Enea degli Obizzi (the field gun - "obice" in Italian - owes its name to him!). On the walls, frescoes by Gianbattista Zelotti. More information available here.

Este National Archaeological Musem
Nearby the castel, Mocenigo Palace hosts the permanent collection of Este Archaeological Museum. On display, finds from necropolis, cults and a hellenistic tomb with a funeral dowry of more then 100 items, including gold and silver jewels. More information available here.
